I had no idea what it would be like I was so surprised there where so many hamsters there of all varieties, Pip was entry no 201...!
I was very pleased that Pip did well and got her second place some of the other entrants thought she would win..!
The one judge commented on how well behaved she was and how she was not fazed by all the noise and smells of what was going on..

On another note, Fluff's young owner has been and chosen a new Hamster today after asking if it was ok to have a new pet as Fluff couldn't come back, he has called him Speedy, he is banded with a colour of mink grey front and back he lives up to his name.... Oh and he has the biggest ears ever and very large paws..

Rads, 201 may be that 2 is the second part of pet class (females) and 01 is she was number 1 in that group. Sweep was P101 at Bracknell, as males were judged first and he registered first so was judged first. I don't remember what he was at Bath, but I know his number started with 2, as males were judged second

That could be true, I was going on the amount of cages there with hamsters in, being judged .There where 4 judges and they where at it for ages the Pet class was supposed to be judged at 2.00pm but didn't start till 2.15pm ish and we weren't allowed back to the tables till just gone 3.oopm..

I think I will show Pip again next year it is quite addictive.....

Aye, it is addictive! But hamsters in general (especially the shopping part! ) is addictive!

Aye Lass, Hamsters are very addictive, for me it's the photography of said Hamsters ..
Also I am upgrading my Dslr to a nice new one with a 24mega pixel sensor...

It's been a bit of a boring week this week, Pip hasn't had much activity out of her cage as she gets up rather late and I have to go to bed early as I have early starts, though she has been up and about when I get up so gets about a half hour in her ball as recompense.

I remember early starts. Played havoc with my sleep. Great to hear Pip getting some time with you and her ball.
