Re: Pippins thread
Now that HC is back running, Good evening Hams and Human Slaves alike.
I grabbed a couple of videos of Pip that some of you may have seen on her Insta account, but for those who do not frequent Instagram I have them on here as normal.
Firstly Pip doing her Dig and Sniff routine...
https://youtu.be/xKlcqw5LIqI
Secondly, Pip fighting me for a Pecan nut, I was so surprised at her strength even though I have seen her happily picking up an 8" long Whimzee and carrying it round her cage to her cave.....

Re: Pippins thread
Been catching up on Pip. 225g seems big to me! My largest topped out at 215g, and everyone commented on how big he was. So funny watching Pip virtually swimming in sunflower seeds and her pecan nut tug of war made me laugh!

Re: Pippins thread
Evening all thought I would weigh Pip tonight it turns out that she is now only 205g she has lost the best part of 10% of her weight, she was 225g, also her fur is getting a little thin in places. My best guess to her age is she is approx 17-18 months old.
She has also taken to deep digging/tunnelling under her cave area which is completely different and new.

Re: Pippins thread
225g is a great weight! Twinkle was 250g but wore it well just like Pip.
Love the vids especially the pecan fight, I sometimes do that with Harvey.

Re: Pippins thread
Evening Folks,
Some less than normal behaviour from Pip of late, she has taken to nesting in her cave and has used some whispy wood packaging from a recycled box courtesy of Mrs R, I have refreshed her water bottles with cold water three times today as it so warm, Also she has no interest in cold cucumber or strawberries either. Garden thermometer Shaded by a clematis says its 31C in the back garden...
So I am hoping her current behaviour is due to the heat and nothing to do with her weight loss...
