Introducing ...
Well, yesterday I got my new hamster! Although I was planning to get one this week or weekend, I hadn't actually been planning to get one yesterday. I went to the shop to get some bits for our cat, and to see if they had any hamsters, and the plan was to reserve one. Welllll ... It was kind of love at first sight - actually, if I'd had enough cages, I'd have brought them all home!
So, here he is, just for you all to ooh-and-aah over ...
SWEEP! He got his name for two reasons. The first is he loves to dig. And I mean loves to! So when he is digging and pushing all of his sand aside, it is almost like he is sweeping it away. The second reason is that he is a similar color to Sweep (the dog) from the Sooty and Sweep Show. I was watching it earlier with once of my nephews when that thought popped into my head!
I am just about to go and make his own personal thread - as he tells me he is great with computers  - but here is ...!! (Oh, those who saw him on my other threads, it's the same pic, as he is still settling in and so I haven't taken any more photos yet!)

What a perfect name for an adorable boy! I love his coat. It reminds me of Lexi. I hope he settles in well and can't wait to see more once he does

He does seem to be settling in well, though is a little crazy! Am just about to update his thread with last night's antics as they are so funny! And hopefully I will get some photos of him too. I've been trying to get photos of his cage and setup but none of them came out too well and I still don't want to scare him, so hopefully I will get some soon!

Thanks, he thinks so too! I'm pretty sure if he had a mirror he'd be standing infront of it and saying "ooooh I am adorable!"
