I am fully aware of that and I am so glad to have him, but I am very for adoption not buying but unfortunately there are no rescues around me and no one was rehoming a hamster. There is also no breeders around me. Thank you for the lovely replies!

Re: Percy's Thread
He is SO adorable - he's just a baby! He does have a slightly cheeky look as well! As though butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. It's such a shame he's still chewing the bars - it sounds like it has become a habit now. Try not to let it stress you or he'll pick up on your stress and do it more! Did you try the chamomile and scatter feeding? And turning the light off?! Or is he just still at it?

Thanks again for the tips Serendipity! You have been such a help. I am doing all of the above and he's still at it. New diy tank in a few weeks max! He definitely is cheeky! I am trying to not get stressed but it's difficult. He hopefully will be happy in his new cage.

Re: Percy's Thread
Hi Guys!
I will admit I totally forgot about this thread. I've decided to give a few updates.
Percy is doing really well. He is in the new DIY cage a month or two now and he loves it. We recently changed his substrate and he got a flying saucer. He is never off it! We also treated ourselves to a new camera Got a few new photos so I'll try post them
