Yes, I agree that must play a huge role in a hammy's hamsterality.
I put Freddy in the box tonight whilst I done a very small clean (last clean was two weeks ago) and I weighed him for the first time. Don't know why I haven't done it already, but of well. He weighed in at 138g. Is that good for a male Syrian hamster, about 13-14 weeks old?
