Re: Meet Einstein!
Thanks, guys! I am in love already! He's asleep now, just a little ball of fur under his wheel (silly boy, I woke up to see his nest under his wheel instead of his hut! :P).

Re: Meet Einstein!
I got to give him some back rubs tonight as I was getting to know him! He just sat there all too-cool-for-school and finished his bath :P Hopefully we can spend more time together in the morning- if I can get up early enough! haha
Question- when spending time with your new hammy babies, how much time do you spend with them at once? I only spent about half an hour with him tonight, didn't wanna push it, and I am too tired lol

Re: Meet Einstein!
Sounds like it's going well Each Ham is different. I think they tell you when they've had enough! And yes, I think less is more to start with. I think they get to know that you won't keep pestering them so they end up trusting you more.

Re: Meet Einstein!
I'm with Velma on this one. Hams are very clever letting you know when they've had enough.
Sounds like you are doing a great job with Einstein.

Re: Meet Einstein!
So I haven't been able to spend time with Einstein in the last couple of days-what with thanksgiving and getting a new job (yay! ) but tonight I got him to take treats from my fingers for the first time! XD hopefully I can get some pictures of him up tomorrow- he really is growing up to be a handsome hammy!
