Aww, the precious Sir Mocho must need to get an extra long nap to help him rejuvenate some of his much needed strength. I will keep my fingers crossed and pray that you will see signs of him again soon. Sir Mocho, take care and have sweet dreams; you deserve a nice rest and extra catering to your needs. Your mum is so loving and just needs a little glimpse of you here and there so she can be sure you are alright in your cozy nest room. She and the rest of us love you so, SOOOO much! Coco, hugs and best wishes to you and your gentleham. xxx

He sure loves his porridge and veggies, you've made his bed so comfy and cosy and Sir Mocho is getting plenty rest and recharging his batteries. I'm sure the nuts/seeds will be found and eaten.
Sending loads of love xxx

Thank you everyone. Mocho is still with me although I have not seen him come out of his nest. I was so worried yesterday that I took off the roof of his nest room to check on him. He was asleep and he moved when I gently lifted the top of his nest. He has filled his nest room with the extra strips left for him over the last 2 weeks as it got colder.
The nut/seed treats were untouched (that's why I was worried). Last night he took 2 fresh peas and later on his porridge which were left outside the entrance to the nest room. I was so relieved to see the porridge gone this morning. When I went out I left a slice of baby courgette cut into quarters in the same place. Gone when I came home. The single peanut was ignored which is unlike him so I have just cut that up in case he can manage a smaller piece. Mostly I have been trying to leave moist food for him because I am concerned about water intake. Holding the water bottle into the nest last night was a failure.
I don't know what else I can do now. He is warm and cosy and able to reach moist food if he is able to.

What a relief the darling is still with you. There isn't much else that can be done, you are so loving and caring for his every need and desire. He sounds like he is doing a mighty good job keeping himself extra warm and cozy; hopefully, he will be able to nibble on more food and keep hydrated with water, too. HUGE hugs to you and gentle cuddles to your precious Sir Mocho, too.

Coco, you're doing everything you can, Remember Sir Mocho will have gotten fluid from the peas and courgette, just ensure he has things that will keep him hydrated. I remember doing that with the water bottle for a couple of hams and it didn't work so I just made sure there was a piece of fruit and veggies nearby. I know how hard this is for you, he's got his nest all cosy and managing his food.
Hugs xxx

Thank you dreamtree. Very kind.
TL that is what I am trying to do. I am delighted to say that I put a cooked thin slice of shredded runner bean at the nest entrance- the edge poking into the nest room. A few minutes later it had gone. I don't hear him even from a short distance away. I just quietly lift the roof of the outer room and can see if anything has gone. The small pieces of peanut are there or possibly one gone. It may just have gone down in the fitch.
I will put porridge there later on. Can't expect him to eat too much at once.

Sir Mocho was super quick at getting the runner bean without you hearing him. What a star!
