I saw 10 days = 1 year, but that yields quite a messy 36.5 years for every human year! I think 40 years for 1 human year is much simpler to work out so I shall probably go with that in future.

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
I remember that when Charlie reached 2 years and 6 months we treated it as reaching the equivalent of 100 years. That may be generous as a few hams can make it close to 3. But it is a huge milestone anyway.
2.30pm delivery is duly noted. The menu is superb, favourite veggies and chicken-what a spread.

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
Bang on the dot, Air Meals Express delivered at 2.30pm. GrandpaHam understood that no afternoon walk by the Thames in the sunshine could take place until the delivery was here. The packaging is first class. No seepage but a hint of aroma of its contents.
Mocho's sense of smell is first class and he has just woken up and I can hear him having a drink. Must go and serve up!
Oh - by the time I got there he had gone back to bed. It is a little early for his dinner but I know it will be fine in a couple of hours!

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
Glad the dinner was on time.
My apologies to Sir Mocho Rattle for not asking him what time he ate at, Master Harvey & myself always have it as a late lunch and then have our siesta after.
Please let me know the time that suits him.
Also his favourite veggies.
Lizzy xxx

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
My VIH (very important ham!) is having one of his reclusive evenings. These are when I see and hear nothing even when a few feet away, but on passing the cage I notice that his baby food meds are partly eaten or his veg has disappeared! My fault for placing these close to his house. I know he has these times and he comes part way out of the bendy bridge entrance and reverses in with stuffed pouches. It makes me smile and I know he's ok.
Deliveries at 7pm are ideal from Air Meals Express, then he can take them into his house for quiet noms. Good manners dictate Sir Mocho should have asked Lizzy himself, but as I said, it's a reclusive evening from the great conductor!

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
7pm it is for Sunday Roast.
Anything for Sir Mocho.
What are his fave veggies? How would he like them - diced, puree, strips or normal?

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
Good Grief- what a choice of style! Sir Mocho's fave veggies are raw peas, mangetout, broccoli (tenderstem if possible including the slender leaves!) sweet corn and courgette plus cooked strips of runner bean. Ignored veg include green beans and Brussels sprouts. Carrots are barely tolerated and that must be because he does not have a sweet tooth so does not eat fruit. Other veg except cucumber-which he likes-have not been tried.
No purée because he must be tired of his daily meds although he does have porridge and wheatgerm in the rotation for that.
He will be very spoiled indeed and twice over now! X

Please tell Sir Mocho that his preferred veggies have been noted in my gourmet diary lol!
Does he like turkey?

Oh yes indeed, veggie risotto with turkey is one of the fave baby foods for meds.
