So pleased to hear Mocho is doing well, the pics are lovely, he's looking very well all things considered I'd never realised how wonderful his ears were until I was looking at him in those pics getting his meds.

Was very nice of him to come out and sit with your daughter so you could get some nice photos of him to share with us

Thank you SKB and BP. He is doing well. Far better than I ever expected. I am lucky to have a vet who will treat Cushings although I understand the meds don't always work. It depends on the root cause.

Psst Mocho, it's me Harvey, yesterday I heard mom giggling and of course I had to check out why. She was oohing and ahhing at pics of you and well I had to check them out and well I have to say my dear ham-pal you are looking mighty handsome. So good to hear you're doing well with your special medicine. Mom keeps me up to date. Hope this hot weather isn't giving you too much bother, mom has been over fussing, not that I mind as I love getting plenty of attention
Mom got her phone bill in and has threatened to block me for making more calls than her, I told her it's important that I ham-chat daily lol!

OH!! I'm so glad for you both!

Mocho looks really good, all things considered. He is an old ham, and I think that his coat looks better than Blacky's, and Blacky doesn't have cushings, and in theory he isn't so old. You're very lucky to have a vet that treats cushings in hams and you're doing a great job keeping Mocho in a mint condition.

Hey Mocho, Harvey here and thanking you for your message, mom read it out loud, mom told me that she's set up a speed-dial service for me to use, instead of me tiring out my paws pushing the numbers on the phone, all I do is lift the receiver (well I use my nose and paws to nudge it off) and press the number 1 which links me to you super fast. She's done this for my ham-pals, you're No1 because you are my best pal. My mom is so good to me and I also get a special discount for my special speed-dial numbers and I have a different ringtone from my mom. That's my latest news.
We had more thunder here yesterday and the day before that but no lightning.

Just a note to let you all know that Mocho has made 2 years and 3 months today. A quarter Birthday does not amount to much normally but he is an elderly man ham now. I can't believe how well he looks. Still doing all his hamstery things and no changes needed yet in his cage. Keeping a close eye on this. I know things can change very quickly.

Congratulations on Mocho's quarter birthday. He's 82 in hamster years! But, he does not look his age - you are taking such good care of him.

I make him 90 lol! I go by the forty years to one human year, but maybe that's not exact. Happy quarter birthday Mocho! He is a sensible little boy, he lives a quiet healthy life and is reaping the rewards of that With the care of his Mum of course.
