Wonderful news Coco about your little trooper Mocho. Harveys asleep, so I'll let him know later.

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
Thank you for your good wishes everyone. I did not see Mocho after his vet visit but I did not expect to as I took the opportunity with him in his carrier to investigate his main nest and hoard. I rarely touch it because he does not pee there. He pees in the outer room and his hamster toilet so those are easier to clean regularly. Despite the removal of a vast amount of hoard and the collapse of his nest (which I returned) he had forgiven me by last night and came out for a treat, even climbing out the door to me. So naturally he got what he wanted!

How nice he came to the door for his treat! Charlie hasn't done that since he was a baby. He would wait until I gave up waiting and would only approach it when I put it down ha ha. He seemed to suss at some point that treats might have catches! Eg being picked up or something. He only does things on his terms.

Well it is a rare event so of course he gets a nice treat. Last night some of his linseed mix.

Yes he deserved a nice treat The Linseed mix sounds good. What else is in it apart from Linseeds? Sorry if you said before earlier in the thread. I run out of ideas for treats.

Re: Please may we present-Jarvis and Mocho...
By mistake I got a packet of mixed linseed which has both the golden and brown linseeds plus sunflower hearts. So I mixed it with a packet of brown linseeds only so it is predominately the best one. I have just bought another packet of brown to dilute it further. It was cypher who said the (dark) brown linseeds were the best as being the most natural variety. Like bread or rice I suppose. Mocho has no trouble picking out the tiny seeds from his HH mix but some in my hand is far better-less trouble!
