Lol - maybe it's a Syrian thing - or a boy thing - Charlie just wants to go to sleep most of the time. I think they go into hides at playtime to feel safe though. Charlie seems to like a 'roof over his head' when he's out of the cage. He has taken to sitting under other half's bent arm on the sofa which must seem like a nice dark shelf but is not actually the safest place to sit so I watch like a hawk when he does that and tell other half not to move an inch lol.

Thank you both so much. I hope to be able to post some more photos soon but I confess that I need my daughter's help for that still

Having a go at posting my first photo from instructions seen elsewhere. Mocho has not been easy to photograph since he became more reclusive.
He loves his salt pig in the playpen and kicks out the surplus Fitch to settle in. Lazy boy! Weighed him last weekend and he was 146 gms at nearly 11weeks

I don't think anyone knows quite why photos come out sideways!

Thanks Cypher. I was really lucky with that blue pot. I went to TKMax and wandered into the kitchenware area and saw that. Only one left and reduced from £12 to £5. It may not last long if he gets too big but he loves it now.
I was out this afternoon and found the shop Tiger which I have not explored before. Hubby said "why do we need to go in her" I replied "HC says always look out for stuff that hammies could use" I came out with a basket that neatly stores food boxes and for only £2 one of those glass jars that rest on its side. I don't think it was labelled 'sandbath' but that is what I saw!!
