Hooray! Progress! It seems he likes the lower light. Sounds like he's enjoying the deeper Fitch. I may have to try this bendy bridge around the wheel trick.

Just taken some new pix of the cage set up now. Noticed he had not stuffed the front door as much so that is progress I think. Just need to check inside the house for wee soon unless I am sure he is using his potty again.

That looks good, the extra fitch you can cram in with the bendy bridge is nice too, I'm glad I don't have to accommodate wheels quite that big, it must make arranging things so much harder.

I love Mocho's cage - that lovely house and the blue salt pig and big rat tube. I like the little shelf on the left of the sputnik too. I bet he enjoys all that, and tubes as well. I think sometimes they're just so cosy in their nice houses they don't want to come out until they wake up after dark. I had a thought for a tube to get Mocho out. I use this one - but not stretched, just use it like a normal tube, but they do stretch out and can bend round corners .....

I make a lot of noise and rattling and ring his little bell when I put his food out about 8.30pm and that usually wakes him up a bit, then I put the tube right up to his house entrance with the treat at the other end - and wait till he ventures into it.

That idea for a tube is really good. Will follow that up. Thanks. Yes, he loves those spots. The hemp mat in the Sputnik has been a hit! The little shelf I turned through 90 degrees and he can get up from the smaller bendy bridge underneath. The bridge on top of the cage is waiting for me to have inspiration for where it should go!

I'm not the best person to ask on those - I had two break on me quite quickly and I gave up on them lol! I believe they can make quite good fences as well!

Drew a blank last night. Sat by an open door but he didn't want to know! At least it gave me a chance to consider what to do with the unused long bendy bridge. I took on board the advice to darken the entrance area so this is what I did. His green tube is still underneath.
