Alright. I think it's high time I finally got this started.
Loaf is my one-year old cream Syrian. At first sight, I saw his shiny, soft fur and fell in love. But what I didn't know as I gazed at his tiny, adorable sleeping form was that he was a very jumpy little guy! Obviously, this would've made him quite hard to hold! But after a couple weeks, he started to calm down a little. He became a dear part of my life. Besides being so soft and cute, he's also quite intelligent. When I enter the room and he's awake, he'll come right over to the bars of his cage and just stand there, meerkating. He sure knows how to guarantee a treat (or two, or three, or five)! At night, he'll run around in his wheel for quite a while, so he's still got that energy from when he was just a tiny pup! And, as you can see from the photos below, he's a very photogenic hammy!
Hope you enjoy!

One of my favorite pictures of Loaf; he is just waking up from a nap while I cleaned his big cage out!
(By the way, sorry the pictures are kinda tiny! I don't want to decrease the clarity by making them bigger!)
