Thanks Cypher! I was inspired by your thread of Zephyr! It was about midnight last night so not the best photos in the world. Yes he is shy but much more relaxed when he is sleepy (aren't we all). I think he is getting used to just being taken out of his cage. If I didn't he'd never come out!
I've posted these elsewhere but here are the latest photos of Charlie. He recently got his own fleecy blanket as little boy wanted his fleecy blanket back! And also a hamster napper which he dived straight into and curled up although I think he would have liked it to be a bit deeper as he tried to dig through the bottom of it for a while. They definitely like small round cosy things.

And he investigated his Christmas hay house and had a nibble of the coconut on top
He had a substrate cage clean this week - I managed not to disturb his nest too much but put some clean nesting paper in anyway and he pouched loads of it to rebuild his nest to perfection
Should be some new photos in the next few days as he is getting his Christmas stocking tomorrow (we are having Christmas late).
