Little Miss Mabel
After months of prep and research, today was the day I finally went out and got my very first hamster! I've named her Mabel  She's a long haired Syrian, about 13 weeks old and LOVES running on her wheel! She hasn't stopped since I brought her home this afternoon!  She's also surprisingly mellow; I was expecting her to be skittish and hide most of the afternoon, but she's been out and about, grooming herself, exploring her cage and checking me out whenever I get close to the cage to watch her.

After a long day of running on her wheel, she has decided to take a nap. but instead of sleeping inside her little nest box, she's fallen asleep on top of it! It's only been half a day but she's already won my heart <3
