Hoshi's Thread

Hi everyone! Just wanted to make a new thread for my little guy Hoshi!

Hoshi (meaning star in Japanese) is a LH BEC satin roan. He was born on 25th September so he is only just over 6 weeks old at the moment. I have had him for a week as of today and he is settling in great! He really loves exploring everything and loves all the toys I've given him in his playpen. He is a bit crazy and has a habit of flinging himself off the platforms in his cage. I'm amazed at how tame he is, and already happily crawls all over me and doesn't mind being held.

After losing my beloved Dusty earlier this year when he was only 9 months old I finally found myself ready for a new hamster. Hoshi is already mending my broken heart and I love him to bits!

Also I adore his patterned ears, they are just too cute!

Aw, Hoshi is just gorgeous

Hoshi has been out and about in his playpen tonight and has been super hyper! I purchased a great organiser from ikea to store all of my hamster bits and pieces in to try and keep things a bit tidier.

Thank you so much guys! Hoshi continues to be so wonderful and tame. He LOVES his playpen and doesn't have much interest in escaping, just playing. I also weighed him for the first time, and at 6 1/2 weeks he weighs 118g, not sure how that compares to other hams

Here is a picture of him on the shelf I made him in his cage, I'm not an artist at heart but had a go at some painting with plasti-kote!
