Since he lacks any gray cheek flashes, and in the nice easy to view Photo it looks like his under coat is Ivory cream I would say you have yourself a beautiful Honey (Yellow and Cinnamon combined) He's a very nice boy and by the amount of fur inside his ears I would guesstimate him at around 6 to 8 weeks old. As Syrian Hamsters age their ears loose all the fur and go shiny and bald.

Here's a photo of the closest I have to a Honey Hamster. She's only 4 weeks old in the photo and is also Banded which lightens up the Orangey coloring a bit more, also she has one gene of cream which also lightens up the orange coloring a bit more.

Here's another Honey but he is also satin and is Umbrous so it is very hard to see his ivory crescents but you can see them in this photo.

Thanks Nancy. I never knew that about the ears. Well he's over 8 weeks old for sure because I have him since August 25th. It's funny, I thought he was old for some reason, probably because he's kind of slow when he runs and he's pretty big.

Oh, that satin hamster is beautiful!

What I love about Pumpkin is that he has the cream colored long hair around his neck that makes him look like a lion lol.

The hair usually is seen for up to a year but after a year it disappears quickly. He may also be slow because of the weather temps outside now too. Most of mine are sluggish and take a bit to think about wheel running, and seem to horde more food in the nest so they don't need to leave the warmth for to much too.
