Thanks everyone! Hazel Nut is quite a character and though at first I thought she was going to be a large syrian (not realizing the difference even a week may make to a hamster development-wise) but since then, I've come to realize she's not as large as I thought and only looks it when she's sitting on her hind legs on my hand, all pudged out. She's actually lean though she's still young and hasn't hit 6 months yet, which I think I read was when they stop growing?

The toothbrush chews are for dogs--they're the whimzees dog chews and they are sold on amazon. I don't know if these are the chews you're talking about though. If they are, I would jump aboard the bandwagon and recommend them as hammies really do seem to love them. Hazel Nut has since moved her chew to her main stash--aka her food bowl. It's actually kinda amusing to see how much smaller it gets each day.

Hazel Nut looks beautiful , love the photos of her with her toothbrush and now chuckling to myself imagining her dragging it around.
