New Family Member

The very gorgeous and wonderfully tame New family member arrived nearly two weeks ago. He is a Syrian hamster, about 6 weeks old, he is black in colour with pinky paws with little white cuffs. To say the least I am smitten.

Have some photos which I need to upload.

Purchased a flying saucer wheel for him which he is getting use to and new stuff for his cage. He is settling in well and getting braver by the day. Will weigh him when he is cleaned this weekend to make sure he is putting on weight. He is already fairly chunky.

Ahh yes, he is called Augustus, Gus for short.

Gus has settled in well. He is very good at climbing, hanging upside down and moving furniture. Soooooo tame. Have photos will share when I get a spare minute.
