Re: I went in for a wheel, came home with a hamster
2LittlePuds - Aww, 10 days isn't long now, though You'll have your furry friend home before you know it!
Cypher/Mamaham - Thank you! Isn't she just I'm so pleased with her, she's everything I wanted in a new hamster so far.

Re: I went in for a wheel, came home with a hamster
Awww she is so adorable! I don't think anyone in their right mind would be able to see her face and not bring her home with them. Especially when she was standing up and wanting out when her cage mates had decided to take a snooze. It was destiny!
That's funny how people apparently thought she was a rat, or maybe they were just afraid of all rodents, hamsters included. You would think this day and age, pet rodents are pretty common place, but most people couldn't imagine wanting a pet rodent, whether they were a hamster or rat. I know, the INSANITY of it!

Pearl, Opal and Tippex all came to mind, but nothing that really sticks out to me as "the one" yet, lol. I want to get to know her a bit better first

Adorable, she's gorgeous. She has some resemblance to my hamster oddly, yet my hamster is white with cream bands.

Re: I went in for a wheel, came home with a hamster
Beautiful. Just what my son wanted, a white ham called snowball lol but unfortunately there were no white pups born.
She looks like she has bits of cream on the back of her head and down her side. Or is that just the light?
Have you got her in the viv now then?

Gorgeous! Names - how about:
Cotton
Rice cake
Whisper
Sugar
Candy
Crystal
Popcorn
Eira (means snow in Welsh)
Neige (means snow in French - pronounced Neshj)
Nieve (snow in Spanish)
Neve (snow in Italian)
And of course Bianca or Blanche (white in Spanish and French)
Ok - I've been googling! Personally I like Sugar!
