Meet Swiss :)
Swiss is my new Syrian. She is a year old, and was a rescue from a friend. This was her thread- Friend's Neglected Hamster, but since it got a little off the rails,
I decided to make her a new one.
She is a shorthaired golden I believe. Such a pretty girl!
This was her old cage. It's the first picture I ever got of her.
Today when I got her home I took a few snaps of her in it-
Then I put her in her new cage and am letting her settle. More pics to come. Thank you all for your support .

She looks so sad in that first picture. I can't wait to see happy pictures of her.

When I was getting her out, I let her sniff me then I gently picked her up. She was a little squirmy but not mean. Then when I gave her food she hissed at me. However, I think with a little time she'll be sweet .

Poor baby. I think she's going to need some time. I have this feeling hands in her cage may been scarey for her before. I am so glad you have her safe.

Whaddya mean it went off the rails? It was an important discussion of a too-often ignored hammy health issue
And yay! Welcome to HC dear little Swiss You'll be so much happier now x
