Re: First time owning syrian help!
Hamsters are pretty smart about what is and isn't food, so she won't be just eating big pieces of cardboard, she'll just be chewing it up. And if she mistakenly swallows a bit of it, it'll digest with no problems

Re: First time owning syrian help!
Awww she is absolutely precious! I can't wait to move out of my dorm room and I can finally get a Syrian, I used to have a little grey LH but she passed away my little Puff! Your little one definitely looks like a Snow heehee toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes work really well for toys/chew things for Syrians! They have some really cute wooden chews at pet shops also dog biscuits with no garlic, or onion flavoring are good too! Also Greenies I think they are called are good too!

Re: First time owning syrian help!
Well I've had a robo before too and he passed away I was so sad I didn't think I was ever going to have another hammie again.. but then around June (at my b-day) my friends gave me another dwarf baby and I have him since then.
The syrian was another great surprise, I wasn't expecting at all but I was soooo happy couldn't say no. I love these little creatures
Good that I had that tank already! It used to have three turtles there but they grew out of it so I gave them to someone I trust that has a huge farm and a big lake for them and so, that's where they are (they gave room to this little one )

Re: First time owning syrian help!
Well I'm still not absolutely sure if my syrian is a female and I couldn't get a hold of her or him I hope maybe you could figure it out with a pic and help me out with that (big) detail?
I don't know if that will be clear to see in this one but if now I'll try again with another photo
Thanks!

Re: First time owning syrian help!
Why not go for a Frozen theme? Do your kids like that movie? If its a girl, obviously anna or elsa, and a boy, olaf or sven! Which is kinda prefect because your adorable little fluffy is white

Re: First time owning syrian help!
I think I'm going to go for snow as her name if she's actually a girl...
Is there anyway you could help me making sure of that fact? would some pictures help? like I mentioned before I still can't get a hold of her so I believe it's probably better not to just grab her and scare her..
