An Introduction...

My new fluffy baby! He is a solid BEC LH Syrian. He was bred by TuftyFluff Hamsters and he is absolutely beautiful! He weighs in at a whopping 106g! and on the sales table at the Coventry show I saw his Cousin/Aunt/some relative, "Holly" a 9month old cream Roan, and she was MASSIVE!! I have no doubt in my mind my (not so) little baby is going to be a big boy in a few short months, if not weeks!

He is settling in and has the bare essentials in his cage until I figure out my new baby's personality - climber, digger, runner, chewer... and of course until I'm used to him and he's used to me.

He truly is a beautiful boy, so fuzzy already but not quite got his full skirt however if his predecessors are anything to go by he is going to have a VERY impressive and beautiful skirt.
What's even better is my friend who accompanied me to the show purchased his identical brother
It'll be so nice as we email regularly and will be able to compare the 2 brothers over their life. I can't wait I get to enjoy my baby and his brother!

So, pictures, and his name.

His name is Dexter and he is truly gorgeous and I already love him to bits!
I've taken 4 pictures of him. After the 4th he got fed up of hearing me squee I'm sure cause he wandered off to bed disgruntled :P and now I've stopped taking photos he's back out again haha.

I have a soft spot for cream hams in general. Also LH... so Dexter is just totally gorgeous! Apollo sure was a handsome ham! I hope once Dexter settles in I can get some more photos of him.

hahaha, he's definitely a boy his sisters were both LH Sables! They too were very very pretty hams! But they weren't for me. Dexter won my heart.

I can't wait to take more. He is so very photogenic even if he doesn't like to admit it :P he's going to be a poser I'm sure.

my massive 6week old boy has his first 28cm wheel on the way! and I'm in no doubt at all that he will be able to push it! which is mental for a 6week old hamster....
