Sponge has arrived!!!!

Hi All

The time has arrived and little Sponge is home. Below are some rather grainy pics, but it was getting dark and my iPhone is an old one which has no flash.

Sponge is an Umbrous Golden Syrian male from Blue Rose hamstery, who turned 6 weeks old yesterday...so I have a Syrian again but a male this time. I have not had a male hamster for 9 years!!!!

He explored the Alexander cage quite thoroughly, and then vanished in to a house...and I awoke this morning to the sounds of water being taken from a bottle, and the sound of the 12 inch Silent Spinner going. I have not seen him, neither have I touched him as he is still settling in. He is tame, but he has to get used to me. I am sure that it will not take very long.

What a cute little guy! I just got my first hamster a couple days ago, from petco. He isn't tame and I have a feeling he's gonna be territorial (he was put in the back due to fighting with others.) I named him Toothless! I hope sponge attaches to you! good luck!
