Meet Star
This is my new Syrian hammy, Star That Shines At Night, AKA Star. As far as I can tell she is a pale crème, possibly LH, but I'm not sure. She is my first Syrian, and my second hamster total. She is living in a 34x12.5 (425in floor space) DIY cage, made by my dad. She is about 2 months and 2 weeks ond according to the store, making her birthday around June 24th.

Re: Meet Star
Lucky your dad was willing to make a cage for your hammie >_<! My dad is too stubborn and thinks making a cage is a waste of money/time/and that they'll chew/destory it... Your hamster Starrie looks like mine, Fessie McGee : 3 I should take more pictures of her and show them off. LH stands for Long Haired right?

Yeah, LH is Long Haired, and don't worry, their will be more pictures Not right now though of course, because she's all curled up in her house so I can barely see her. My dad does woodwork stuff all the time, sometimes for the neighbors even (paid of course) and he didn't like the idea of a bin cage... but hey, I'm not complaining. It's a lot easier to see in this way.

Re: Meet Star
Thanks Hekomi, I'd wanted some sort of DIY cage, and my dad wanted to this instead of a bin cage. A bin probably would have been cheaper, but it would have been hard to find one as big as the cage I have now. So far Star seems to like it, so I'm happy.
