Thank you for bringing him here, he is a lovely little thing, and was indeed well looked after. I did send his owners pictures and they were very pleased with everything and said how much they miss 'Tinkerbell' (I think he will need a more manly name now).

Poor little guy had blood on his toes the other day, I think it may of been due to his nails as they were llong and I found no evidence of anything else sharp ect that could of hurt him.

He is incredibly friendly still and very happy to come out and say hi or take treats, will be starting to handle him soon and see how he feels about that

Taming will definitely be no problem, he loves attention...in fact, my partner who isn't the biggest hamster fan adores him.

I've been watching him closely and even though I don't know his age, I'm thinking he is actually quite aged now as he does walk quite slow and his nails are pretty long. I'm going to work on giving him some better quality food as even though he is quite large he is also a bit on the skinny side..

He is a real sweetie and keen to get some human attention.

I'm really hoping to be able to find him a new home, but it will have to be someone who is prepared for him to be older as I think he is probably nearing two years old.

I think tonight has confirmed how old he is.

He was extremely wobbly and looked to be having some fits. He also went cold and I had to stop him from falling off his toys. I got the idea his time for the bridge was coming and got a hand towel to wrap him up in as I did not want to leave him alone like this. At first he wanted to be in his cage but soon settled in my arms.

Currently sat with him wrapped up against me...his time is coming, and although I've been able to warn him up he is very weak. I've been sat like this for over an hour but I'm glad he is comfortable with me...in fact, every time I move away he makes little noises at me until I'm back stroking his head with him cuddled up.

I'm devastated to be losing him not that long after he arrived, but being here with him is all I could of asked for, there is no way I could leave him alone, such a sweet little guy..

This is just awful. I feel terribly sad for this poor beautiful little hammy. He only just got there. I so hope he goes gently SinNyx. How dreadful for you.

I wish I could spend more time with him, he is such a friendly boy, always wanting attention and waiting for me at the bars. It's 1:30am here and I'm too scared to leave him, he looks so peaceful. I hope he passes soon in comfort, it's what he deserves.
