I am so sorry about Molly. I am sure she knows you loved her and that she is running about in her wheel waiting for you in the future. We had a dog that caught and killed a one of my gerbils when I child. I know you did your best for her and loved her. The care you gave her is pretty amazing. Before I joined the forum no one I had ever met thought of taking a hamster to a vet. I still get looks for taking our Chewie to the vet to be euthanized when it was obvious there was no recovery and nothing but misery for him if we didn't. I am so sorry I know it doesnt make it feel better.

Oh, how very, very sad. I had really hoped she would make it. You certainly did everything you could do to save her. I love all kinds of animals too and it can be difficult to keep prey and predator animals away from each other. When I was young my German Shepard got to my guinea pig and he also died. I do hope you won't blame your cats. They were just doing what they are born to do. I am so sorry you've lost Molly.

I am so sorry to hear this, lots of big hugs to you and yours, Molly will be at the bridge with the rest of our babies giving her big snuggles.
