Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
This little man is adorable. I love him squished by the waterbottle. I have the same holder and it's great. Especially when my furries are in the playpen.

Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
I have a water bottle brand I absolutely love- the Bell Bottle set. I have 2 in tanks and 1 in a cage. BUT, I do think yours is very cute! Congrats on the bargains too! Petsmart had a bunch of items on clearance today, but I have no idea what they were because they were all gone. lol

Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
That's what happened to me at Petsmart. I did get the Carefresh bedding half off, but that was the only clearance thing left and only the natural kind in small bags. Seems like a couple weeks ago is the perfect time to get stuff on clearance. I'll have to remember that for next year.
As far as color goes, I don't really know that much about coat and color so I don't know what his color is officially called. He seems to be about the same color as the natural bedding.

Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
50% off bedding is a great deal! Even if it is brown. lol Funny cause I just watched a youtube video of someone's haul back in September and she got a huge stock of bedding, buy one get one free and really stocked up.

Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
Oh yeah, I forgot they did also have all the bedding buy one get one half off and they gave that to me on the already half off bedding. I don't know if that's still going on, but not a bad deal. He seems to like it fine, he's built a giant mound in it for a burrow with a side entrance and it seems to hold up ok.

Re: Percival Fluffybottoms
Thanks for all the bin compliments , it was fun making it. I'm glad I decided to make the mesh panels high for deep bedding because he loves to pile up a huge nest. I just read the wiki about treats... I'm having a hard time resisting giving him too many fresh food treats, lol. It's just so cute to watch him eat them! Today I got some freeze dried blueberries and bananas from Trader Joes. I can't see why freeze dried fruit would be bad for him, and there's no added sugar or anything. I'm going to refrain from giving him any tonight though, I fear I have already given him too much, and I don't want to make him sick! I also found a tiny "hamster" cage at Petco on clearance that I'll use to put a wire latch door on the bin lid. Man I'd hate to think of all the hamsters living in those tiny cages their whole lives . Here he is eating a piece of apple:
