Re: Introducing Waffles!
Thanks again for your kind comments and here is Waffles enjoying a carrot The key to Waffles heart is food it seems and I haven't found a healthy treat that he won't eat, lol. He is such a little sweet heart! The little tufts of fur on his hips crack me up too and they seem to be getting longer. I hope to take some better/clear pictures of him this weekend while he is in the bath tub.

"What carrot? I didn't see any carrot. Maybe you should put another one in here so I can be sure I know what you're referring to."

He's a handsome little ham-man Love the 'I'm not guilty...' face in the pic - He would have gotten away with it if it weren't for the bulging pouches!

Re: Introducing Waffles!
Awww waffles is adorable! Lovin' the pictures and he certainly loves the camera.
He certainly is getting bigger and looks very healthy, his coat is amazing. Have you managed to weigh him yet?
We have a black eyed cream Syrian called Apollo and he's currently 205g! And just over 4 months.
Look forward to seeing more pics of your little one

Re: Introducing Waffles!
Thank you all so much for your kind comments! I just love the "what carrot?" expression too . Bec, I have not managed to weigh him yet as I don't have the correct scale. But, I would be curious to know how many grams he weighs too. He has really started to fill out and put some weight on since I have had him. Unfortunately, my local pet stores have all stopped carrying Hazel Hamster and I am waiting it to restock on Petmountain.com to buy in bulk. For the time being, Waffles is on a mix of Oxbow, Vitasmart Complete Nutrition and dry porridge oats. For treats he gets fresh fruits, veggies, dried insects (he is not sure if he likes mealworms, grasshoppers or crickets though, lol) or a tiny piece of tofu. I am always looking for things to add to his diet to help improve it and give him more variety. What kind of scale do you recommend for weighing him? Thanks again!
