Default Syrian hamster color help?

Hello, I've come with an odd situation. I cannot seem to determine the color of my hamster- even after a long time researching about different fur types, colors, genetic links, etc but still my little hammie is such a puzzling sight!

He is a male syrian who seemingly has a full white body with pink (not black) ears. Supposedly this would result in him having red eyes, but he does not. Only black. So this does not mark him as an albino.

As I looked closer at him I find that he has incredibly light brown-gold markings on his forehead- and a spot on his back and ear. Attachment 18273

I have contacted a knowledgable hamster owner (Erinshamsters on youtube- she does great hamster care videos by the way) and she suggested checking out this forum.

I haven't the foggiest idea on what his true color and pattern is- my guess is a dominant spot. As I said- the brown patterns are incredibly hard to see so he definitely cannot be a cream or cinnamon.

It works OK for me.
I think your hammy is likely a red eyed cream Roan or maybe a Red eyed cream dominant spot with a lot of white Very cute hammy
I can see from the pic that he does have red eyes though. They can look very very dark and almost black but in certain lights and when you have seen a lot to compare they are red.

Oh that's good- hope the photo works for anyone else haha And thanks for your say in this- gonna have to agree with you because in some occasions his eyes do look slightly red but I thought that was just the trick of the light but I'll take it into consideration.

The only problem with creams though is that they have black/dark ears, not fleshy colored ones from what I've been told. Eeep my little hammie is so confusing haha XD
