Default Hamster Wheel Problem

Hiya,
I have a metal green hamster wheel. It's so good and preety quiet - doesnt wake me up! But whenever my hamster goes on it, she leans to her right and because of the wheels shape, I'm terrified she'll trap her head in it and I won't be around to help her! None of my other hamsters did this but I feel like I can't leave her unsupervised incase she hurts herself badly. Is there a way I can make her run more central to the wheel?
Thanks x

Yikes! I'd take the wheel away and get a different one. The wooden ones are very quiet too. I know it might seem a bit of an inconvenience but better to be safe than sorry.

No, no. It's not an inconvenience at all, I want what's best for her but I'm just worried! Do Pets at Home do the wooden ones? I haven't seen them in there before.

I thought they did, I wasn't too sure. I've taken the wheel out and given her a small cardboard box. She's not happy!

Just remember she will need a large wheel (syrians need at least 8.5inches) they only do 2 sizes of wooden ones in p@h you will need to buy the £14.99 one think its 12inches the other one is meant for dwarfs xxx

I've never known a Hammy to be as big as Betty! She's like a small rat, literally! x x
