awww. thanks so much for all your wishes and thoughts i will make sure Timmy knows I'm sorry to hear about your hammy souffle, how long did she have after the initial illness? the breeder seems to think he may not recover nor have long left but i am keeping everything crossed and hoping for a recovery since his spirits wee up yesterday

Ooh my gish i just saw the HOTM thred! fantastic faces wow it really cheered me up ha maybe i will enter him though due to his illness not sure yet

I'm afraid she did not have that long - maybe a week or so but she did not respond at all to the antibiotics so the vet thought in her case it was a tumour rather than an infection. She went very downhill and we chose to give her rest.
Every hamster is different and the diagnosis and prognosis may be different too so keep your hopes up for Timmy.
We never know when out little ones will be called but what will be will be and a short life filled with love and caring is always worthwhile if it comes down to that x
