Hello NeewBieOwner5,

A huge part of keeping a Syrian as a pet is the research you do before buying one. This is a good start joining a hamster forum as there are a lot of knowledgeable people here.

BUT

We are not going to do the research for you.

If you are interested to know more about a hamster cage, look in the housing section. If you would like to know what bedding & substrate are good look in the housing section. If you would like to know about food look in the Nutrition section.

Start to show how responsible you are going to be in caring for your new Hamster by doing the work yourself & not expecting other people to do it for you

Hi & welcome, there is loads of info on here. As Silver says there are all the different bits of the forum with lots of advice & especially usful things are stickies at the top of each forum page. There is also the wiki with advice on taming etc. Have a good look through & then maybe post again if you have any specific questions after that.

Good luck & enjoy all the reading, there's loads to learn about hamsters & lots of fun stuff you can do to make your hamster's life with you really good
