Default Penny (And Bob) in play pens

So, now that I have Miss Penny and both she and Bob are begging to get out at the same time when I walk into the hamster room (Yes, now I have a room devoted to them) I had an issue of how to interact with them and give them free ranging time at the same time. So, aside of just the play pen I picked up more poster board and made another area. This way I get to sit inside the other play pen area and interact as geography. This has really made Penny so warm to me. I feel I've done it ALL right with her while all my other hamsters were trial and error and I made a LOT of errors! With Penny I was just on my game!

I love the first because if you look closely you can see Bob on a platform and Penny on her climbing tower there. Lucky shot!

I do a switch after awhile when they get bored of either play pen.

I love my small children. But I still have to say that selfishly - as something just for myself every day - my night time alone to play with my hammys is a major highlight I look forward to all day.

And a little video of Miss Penny Lane shuffling around.

So cute! I love the first pic with them both climbing.

How does the climbing tower there not fall over with a hamster precariously perched on top? It looks like it should topple straight over, and clearly it doesn't. Clever.

Thank you
It's pretty sturdy! Weighted and curved in such a way that with how light she is it just wouldn't. I don't know! Looking at the picture it does look so dangerous and like it would just come down but I knew it wouldn't when I was setting it up by the feel of it. Man, she LOVES that thing. She's a major climber!
