Little patch of missing hair?
I'm probably concerned over nothing. But my Syrian had a little patch of missing hair on the top of her head, then today I noticed a little patch missing right near her right eye. She tries climbing the water bottle holder. (Don't worry, I have something on top of the lid.) Is it possible she scratched it, or something else?

Re: Little patch of missing hair?
First thing I think of, is, what kind of cage does she live in? Is she a bar-chewer? She might be wearing the fur off in places while chewing.
Second, what kind and size of wheel does she have? Does it have a center spindle sticking out of the middle of it? Maybe her head is rubbing on that while she runs?

Re: Little patch of missing hair?
Sometimes when they moult they can look a bit patchy too for a while. Check the skin and see if it looks healthy and not red or has any scabs on it. If it persists or gets any bigger or she has other symptoms then it would be best to have her vet checked.

Re: Little patch of missing hair?
She has a 6.5", regular sized, Silent Spinner wheel. And she is in a 10 gallon tank. So no bars.
