Re: Taming guides/advice?
Is it possible that she was grabbed or mistreated at all after she escaped?

Re: Taming guides/advice?
She was caught in a bucket trap and placed straight back in her cage as far as i'm aware. Whilst she's been here i've heard no shouting from her and she has calmly taken food from me and calmly walked into and out of her ball so she's not terrified, perhaps she's just a little hand shy (haven't got that far with her yet).
Going to get in the bath with her tomorrow and see how we get on I think.

Re: Taming guides/advice?
Well all was going fairly well with this little lady, she had become quite happy to climb up on my knee and allow me to stroke her. However for the last 2 days out of nowhere she's back to being wary and just keeps running up and down my leg rubbing herself against me and the bath! Any ideas?

Re: Taming guides/advice?
Sounds like she's scent marking you and the bath... I have absolutely no idea why she'd do that to you though
Glad she's improving though!

Re: Taming guides/advice?
No I don't understand it either. I've figured out she's very cage territorial and does go around scent marking everything every time she's back in it and you do have to let her come out of her own accord as she certainly doesn't like you sticking your hand in there but why she's now doing it when she's out is beyond me!

I have images of her becoming territorial over you, attacking anyone who comes near you >.<
Sorry, not very useful but it has made me smile Hopefully someone will have a clue as to why she's doing this!

Re: Taming guides/advice?
By the end of her stay she was quite happy to be stroked out of the cage and climb up on my knee, however i'm back to work on Monday so have run out of time to do much else so she's had to go back to her owner today. I've told them what they need to carry on doing now and just hope she carries on improving.
