Well...you didn't REALLY think that we could go to Gatcombe today and NOT come back with someone did you???

We now have another lovely addition to the household.

His name is a little 'unusual', as my little boy came up to me when I was cleaning out the new ebay Cambridge yesterday, and said...'Mummy...that cage is for my new hamster, Bob the Builder!' He then he turned around to our dog Winnie, and said 'Winnie....do NOT eat Bob!'. Looked at me, smiled and said 'I'm excited Mummy...Bob is my hamster'.

So...of course...now our newbie (well, not mine, my sons aparently ) is now known to us as Bob...although he is one of BVH retirees...so he his official 'stage' name is Grappa.

What a beauty...thanks again BVH!

(P.S. He is actually now living in a Gabber..Lucky boy )

I really have! Hamster Widow is putting up some shelves next weekend..so the cages can stay in the lounge with us and still look neat and tidy!

I have agreed with him no more than one hamster purchase per show...he didn't look all that impressed though...then again...between you, me and the gatepost...he did mention that he wants to get a Black hamster at some point!

Well, far be it from me to encourage - but Basia does have a Black/Golden litter, which should be ready soon; or if you could wait until towards the end of the year, you'd be welcome to one of Wesley's planned Black litter

Sounds like Widow's going the same way I did!

Know what you mean about the shelves - I've been measuring up, ready for an Ikea run... the only problem being, I'd have some spare shelves.
