After the recent sad loss of my beautiful and amazing hamster dizzy I was devastated. It quickly became clear that I needed a new bundle of joy to brighten up my life- QUE CAPPUCCINO (or Pucci has caught on), my new syrian hamster
Yeah, so I got an amazing new hamster yesterday from harrods. Of course, we are still in the long and slow taming process- and I am working to get him to take treats from my hands. He is quite shy at the moment, but does not nip, which is important to me, but its difficult to slowly tame him because i am SUCH an impatient person xD We are trying to get him more used to us at the moment and just taking it in baby steps- and of course, we have burnt all the left over fluffy bedding (see my old threads) in the house. That horrible stuff killed my old hammy
I'm currently using loo-roll as his bedding and he seems to like it so hopefully that will work out.
