My tank/cage plans
I have my 2 hamsters in a split fish tank at the moment, but because it's split into 2, they don't have as much room as I'd like, so I'm planning on building an extension to go on top of it so they have more room to play.
The wooden areas will have a thin metal around the edges to stop them destroying it through chewing and will be treated to make them waterproof so they don't soak up urine
These are my plans so far, let me know what you think

Re: My tank/cage plans
thanks
I'm not sure if I'm cutting circles or just the corners out yet, don't really like cleaning tubes so I'm thinking the second option and putting ladders up

Re: My tank/cage plans
I've made the extension
didn't use any wood to save money so made the whole thing out of cage mesh... my arms and hands are REALLY cut up from it now but it's worth it to see them happy
and don't worry about the mesh floor... it's now covered since taking the photo ^_^
