Bin Cage Shelf??

Sorry another thread... Well as you have guessed I am making a bin cage, I want to make a second level and was thinking of using a piece of wood... Can I just use a 'random' piece of wood?

How to add another level to a cage this might help, its a bit easier than wood thats for sure.

well if the edges are smooth and you can attach it i don't see why not.
But you may want to use plasticoted wood, or plasticote it yourself to avoid it getting messy

But it may be too heavy for the plastic to support

I suppose you could get a piece of wood and put somethin under it for a support !

another option is a free standing wooden shelf. Like the trixe guinea pig shelter or hamster steps

I have made a second level! Using the basket idea but with a ice cream tub! Thanks tho x

somebody here had the brilliant idea to use a cd-holder thing for extra levels...cant remember what the thread was called though
