As i research alot and alot i know alot and alot about bin cages as i myself will be making one shortly ! Bin cages get alot of good feedback and it is very creative and personal

On your question i Suppose it doesnt really matter that much it will always get light from the top of the box but i would recomment taking the lid off sometimes so it doesnt feel to depressed in the dark

Im new to this forum ( Joined today ! )

Should i stay posting on it , Please tell me

which one are you going with? glad you found a clear one, hammies need sunlight just like we do. Sunlight helps them get vitamin d which helps in making good strong bones.

I like these, as you can get a second level in too
