Default Boxer The Dwarf Hamster

On Sunday 15th February we lost our first Hamster.

He was named Boxer, and was a little fighter till the very end.

We suspect he may have died of old age. He bagan to look thinner and was a little hunched over.

We took him to the Vets in October 2008 to remove a lump from his ear, the Vets said there was no point in removing it because he was going to die very, very soon anyway. Despite this claim, we still got the lump taken off and he lived for a further 4 months.

Boxer was a very sweet Hamster and he never bit anyone. He would often chew on the bars of his cage for a treat or for attention when ever you entered the room.

We have buried him in the garden, where we will always be reminded of him.

He will be missed, but we will never forget him, and the memories he has left us with are wonderful.

Rest In Peace little Boxer.

Bethany.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Boxer sounds to be such a little character and you are fortunate to have shared his life. He had a long and happy life with you and I hope your memories will be of comfort.
Play well at the bridge Boxer
