Genji's new home
I had been thinking over the last week or so of how to make Genji's cage more exciting and stimulating for her and after seeing some of the bin cages on here decided to have a go. It took quite a while but was worth it as i am really pleased with the result. It was surprisingly cheap too, the two boxes used cost £3 and £2.50 and the bars used i took from Genji's playpen as that was far too big for her anyway. I used gaffer tape to hide the fixtures and make them look nicer and velcro to hold the water bottle in place. I have also been getting fed up with having her bits and bobs (extra toys, bedding etc) in shoe boxes so bought a 3rd box which is the same size as the bottom one of her cage so i can stack it underneath with all that in. The setup consists of a smaller top box which is Genji's 'living quarters' and the larger bottom box has all her tubes and stuff in. Anyway, enough rambling, take a look:

i like the idea of using the smaller one as a second level, realy cool!
I bet she will enjoy her new space
