My Homemade Cage Project!

Hello Everyone

So as the title says, i am making a cage!! i have found the wood for the base, the legs and the lid

I am going to cut the wood later on, i have drawn on the measurements that i think are ok for a pair of dwarfs.... but i will check it with you before i cut it
So is 57cm(Width) and 70cm(length) OK?

I will post pictures when i have cut it Ect.

i am going to paint it with plastikote, so they dont know its wood

Aslo, does anyone know anywhere i can buy perspex for cheap?

I am not sure weather to have mesh instead of perspex? Perspex is very pricey... does anyone know any alternatives?

Mesh may lead to chewing but then I have heard of some hammies chewing through perspex too.
