Smile Bin cage help

Hi everyone I am new here and I hope someone can help me. Soon I will be a owner of a male Syrian hamster , my sister got 2 separate hamsters And she has one that is very calm and this one that has bitten a few times so I have offers to take full care of him. I hope with more room and more patient he will settle and become very happy. So I have been doing loads of research and I came across bin cage which is a good price and overall I saw was very popular. The bin I have is a clear bin and is 150 liters and I will be putting mesh or chicken wire on the lid to help vent alit ion.

So here is what I have Been worried sick about. I have 8 guinea pigs in a shed that is specifically design for them it has insulated walls and a radiator that isn’t on all the time it depends on the weather it is draft proof leak proof and no bugs can get in through anything and has 2 windows so the plan was to have him out there ,I am out there the majority of the time. I am concerned that he will escape his bin cage and get into contact with the guinea pigs. The bin has a lid as I said earlier can any one give me advice about stopping any escaping happening from bin cage I will be very grateful
