Thanks so much for you lovely and very sweet posts, Sasha, Mangoandmimi, and Thin Lizzy! My two, precious piggies and I really appreciate your kindness.

Arwen, Hinata, Eros, and I hoped you, your family, and your darling pets had a very happy, fun, and treat-filled day. We hope that you had plenty of wonderful blessing in your life that made you extra thankful this year, too. If you and your loved ones live outside of the U.S. and did not celebrate Thanksgiving, we hope that your day was extra special and happy, too.

Of course as many of you know, this Thursday marked Arwen and Hinata's very first Thanksgiving Day, and they were excitedly popcorning and wheeking so loudly with excitement. They surely made my Mum and I giggle and grin from ear to ear. They even were willing to adorn themselves with homemade costumes like their fluff sister Eros to celebrate Gobble, GOBBLE. . . Day in style. As you can see, Arwen dressed as an extra hyper pilgrim whereas Hinata dressed to please as a silly, gobbling turkey. They celebrated with lots of fresh Timothy hay, an extra large portion of some of their favorite veggies (yes, Arwen is now eating her share, too), cuddles, kisses, and lots of extra playtime sessions.

Here are two final pics of my precious piggies enjoying the final hours of Thanksgiving on Thursday. They let me know that a couple closeups will be nice since they kept insisting on getting right up to my camera lens and then posing for their photo op, lol.

After backing up a bit, these are the two photos that I managed to capture of them and their cuteness.

Sadly, their costumes had already fallen off them, but I think the pics were lovely regardless.

I created Arwen's Pilgrim hat, Hinata's turkey hat and tail feathers, and Eros's turkey feather/Native American headdress out of assorted colors of construction paper. I just couldn't have my precious, three fluffies not dressed for the occasion, lol. My mum watched me make the three costumes, and she giggled and smiled that I was making them for my tiny hamster and two little piggies. I think that she was shocked and happily surprised that they actually seemed pleased to wear them.

My heart went giddy at Arwen's & Hinata's first Thanksgiving celebrations together. They both look so cute with their head pieces and they gave me the giggles with their expressions. It's so important we include our little ones on special occasions, after all they are part of the family. I always love seeing the joy on their faces and at each other. So much piggie love!

Can't believe I missed a few post about your special piggies - Arwen and Hinata.
Lovely seeing your beautiful girls enjoying their veggies plus Hinata eating her food with her paws on there bowls.
I hope Arwen and Hinata enjoyed thankgiving - they look so sweet with their costumes on.

Thank you so much, SKB. Yes, my two piggies had such an excellent Thanksgiving. Hinata, being the food-driven piggy that she is, thought it was one of the best holidays ever. She had a nice feast of an assortment of fresh veggies in a special Thanksgiving bowl. Arwen was more interested in wheeking at and popcorning alongside my dancing and gobbling Mr. Tom Turkey stuffed animal. (Some of you may remember that Eros danced with him last Thanksgiving, too, lol.) Both piggies enjoyed all of the extra cuddles and kisses from me and each other and all of the words of praise and thankfulness that I shared with them since that is the true sentiment behind celebrating Thanksgiving. I do love the costumes that they wore; I'm still amazed that they kept it on long enough for some pics, too.

I took Arwen and Hinata to see Santa Claus yesterday since it will be their very first Christmas this year. Even though it was so heartbreaking to not have Snickers and Eros there with us, I could not let the wonderful opportunity pass us by since it is one of my very special traditions with all of my fluffies. There were many moments during my piggies' time with Santa that I was overcome with so much emotions that tears flowed from my eyes. Santa said he remembers that Snickers and Eros should be here with all of us, too; he won't forget about them and all of their dear, furry friends at the bridge as well. This is a picture that I managed to capture showing all of the love given yesterday. It was a true circle of love - never-ending and everlasting. I just love that Arwen, Hinata, and Santa's arms/hands form a perfect heart and my two little piggies were giving each other some sweet whisker kisses, too.

Kissy, KISSY. . . .

"Come on Arwen, don't turn away from all of this mushy, ticklish lovin'! I'm your piggy sister, and we have to show Santa how nice and loving we are. We want to be on Santa's Nice List, right?"

"Alright, if all else fails, we will eagerly munch on this extra, EXTRA long C-A-R-R-O-T to show that we are eating our veggies and being very healthy. That should definitely impress Santa. Watch us munching and making the C-A-R-R-O-T look like a mini-seesaw, Santa." Santa's reply is, "Don't get any silly ideas, you two cuties, lol. Ho HO HO, chuckle, chuckle!!!!!" "Wheek, WHEEK. . . his round belly really does jiggle like a bowl full of jelly when he laughs and giggles!!!

Of course, Arwen was truly taken with Santa, his jolly laughter, and his white beard. She kept on wanting to climb his long, curly beard and give Santa's cheek and glasses a few extra whisker kisses. I think she believed she needed to do a bit more convincing so she can guarantee that she is actually on the Nice List, lol. Don't worry, Arwen; you both are really, REALLY on Santa Claus and Santa Paw's Nice List.

After their visit with Santa Claus yesterday, Arwen was determined to dress up like Santa since she loves him and thinks he is one very playful and jolly two-legged.

Of course, Hinata much preferred being one of Santa's most loyal and veggie-eating reindeers, lol. "Wait just a second, Mum. . . where are the veggies? Don't tell me that those sparkly brown T-H-I-N-G-I-E-S (a.k.a antlers) are veggies because I know they really are not?"

"Yippee, sweet and crunchy C-A-R-R-O-T-S!" Hinata

"Do you want this one, Mum? I don't mind sharing, but please overlook the few nibbles here and there."

"No more veggies for me, Mum; I think I most definitely had my share and impressed both Santa Claus and Santa Paws. Even the Elf on the Shelf is impressed with me now. Wheek, WHEEK!!!"

"More veggies now PLEASE, Mum! Look into my dark, chocolate eyes and melt. Wheek, WHEEK!!!! Yep, I knew that would certainly do the trick. Yum, YUMMmmmm. . . No one can resist this adorable face."
