Good wheels for mice?
I am hoping to get some mice soon and was wondering if anyone can advise me on suitable wheels for them.
I have a flying saucer but would like a decent upright one. Thanks.

Re: Good wheels for mice?
Sorry flowerfairy I can't recommend any good mice wheels from personal experience myself but just wanted to drop in to say:
OOHH MICE!!!!! Please share them with us when you get them
Perhaps a small silent runner would be appropriate?
I think Drago is taking some time away at the moment but that's who I'd go to for mice advice.

Silent spinners are good, I wouldn't get anything enclosed or you'll end up with pee-covered mice xD In my own personal experience, I've always found flying saucer wheels to be best but that's just my personal experience with mice. Bear in mind whatever you get will need to withstand a LOT of cleaning

Haha April Pearl I adore meeces and will certainly be uploading loads of oics if it all comes together. Still waiting to hear back from the rescue.
I thought that the silent spinners were no good these days Ghosts? Would a silent runner be ok?

Re: Good wheels for mice?
I'm getting runners and spinners mixed up lol.
Also bear in mind when getting a wheel that you have to take their tail into account too

Oh good so a silent runner it is then. One of the mice looks quite big so perhaps the biggest silent runner.
I will order it once the rescue get back to me.

Re: Good wheels for mice?
Hope they enjoy the silent runner, flower fairy. How many mice are you getting? Do you think it would be worth providing more than one wheel in case they all want to run at once?
How exciting that you already have them picked out!

Re: Good wheels for mice?
The ones that i have applied for are a group of three. A neutered male and two sisters. They will have a flying saucer or two but wanted an upright wheel as well. Going to watch a load more mouse youtube vids tonight (oh the hardahip).
Annas animals and creek valley critters being my two current faves.
