Aww, that's so cute. So pleased everything is going well with the chick.
Have you thought of a name?

Ah yes a name. It's so nice to hear about the 4 year old chick learning to ask for a bath in that way!

No name yet. I have to find names that could be male or female as the only way to be sure if the chick is male or female is by a d.n.a test or a surgical procedure.

Behaviour can indicate male and female, but no guarantee. Some breeders say males are bigger. Which would mean all the older babies are female (they are the same size as Joe). Jake is bigger. But I have also been told that size isn't an accurate way to tell.

I look forward to finding out what wonderful name you choose for this precious chick. What fun!

How about Frances or Frankie? How clever to say "bath" it's hard to imagine being able to make those sounds without lips.

Feathers are getting more visible. I had another feeding session with Joe while the chick was watching. It does growl sometimes, but not for long.

Still camera shy/light shy, so can't get a photo with it looking forward.

Aww, how cute! I suppose that this little chick wants us eagerly await seeing its precious face until its good and ready. How I adore the shy ones; it makes seeing a glimpse of them all the more special, lol. I'm glad that the feeding session with Joe went well and the baby chick watched and learned from Mum.

The suspense is growing minute by minute. I can hardly wait to see that precious face, too. You sure are lucky, CMB!
