Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
The baby is now seven weeks old and is almost fully feathered. I have a photo, but the simple resize app doesn’t work anymore. Error message to say it needs updating you the developer, but there is no update available.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
I'm so glad that the chick is doing so great and is thriving. Happy 7 weeks and 2 day, little one!!! CMB, I'm sorry that the resize app isn't working properly right now; hopefully, it will allow you to update it soon. Good luck!! I look forward to seeing the photo that you took whenever the resize app cooperates with you.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
Lovely the baby is fully feathered Looking forward to seeing him. Is it like baby fluff - a coat that will be replaced, or is it his full adult feathers? I use Batch Photo for resizing. You can use it free but it puts a watermark on the photos. The paid for version costs and no watermark.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
The feathers are the proper feathers, rather than the fluffy down/feathers. It won’t be long before the baby comes out of the nest box.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
How sweet! I'm sure that you are anxiously awaiting for the chick to be coming out of the nest box soon. That way you will always be able to have a good view of the precious, little one. He/She sounds absolutely marvelous and very lovely with all his/her feathers. I look forward to seeing the sweetheart.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
The baby has been going through a nervous period. But seams more settled again. Jake had been growling (nervous/aggressive behaviour) and the baby had been joining in.
Hopefully Joe’s calm behaviour will help.

Re: My African grey (Congo) parrots
I'm sorry to hear that chick has been nervous and Jake has been growling. Hopefully, they will both calm down soon with Joe's help. Has there been any changes lately that may have caused this change in behavior? Hopefully, everything will be alright again soon.

No change. Just being protective of the baby. Warning grows towards me.
