It's so nice that they could spent together those hard moments for Willow. I'm glad that surgery went ok and that he's recovering fast. I hope he completely recovers soon

Aww Enerham so pleased to hear that Willow's op went well. I did laugh at Sapphire being grumpy at being left at the vet to keep Willow company.

The vet checkup went really well. Willow is looking great, eating well and the wound is healing. Sapphire is generally a pretty grumpy pig--has been since I got her. She still seems a little mad at me for dragging her to the vets for the third time this week, but now they have a break until next Friday. I'm hoping she'll forgive me before then!

EnerHam, I just saw this post today. I am so sorry to hear that your sweet Willow had to have surgery. I am relieved that it was a success and her vet checkup went well, too. I know it must have been quite scary to have to see your sweetheart go through this. I do hope that it will not prove to be a recurring problem for her in the future. I will be sending you good luck vibes that the other followup vet visit goes well also. I am sorry that Sapphire is acting quite grumpy lately, but I think that it was good that she was able to be there to comfort Willow during the whole ordeal. I know Sapphire will forgive you very soon. Piggies do have such loving and forgiving hearts, and she knows that you did it because you love and want the very best for both of them. I will be wishing you all of the best. Eros and my guinea pig Snickers sends a whisker kissy to all three of you!

Thanks for all the lovely comments! I'm happy to say that Willow's mouth has now healed without a trace of any scar or other sign the lump was there. She'll be pleased to know no one else is going to be staring into her mouth. Sapphire can go back to being her grumpy self at home with no disruptions lol.

Here's hoping that thing does not come back.
